Kralk Audio. Beautiful British Speakers
Like the look of these (Yes I know there point and squirt.... back down all you Omni lovers )
Anyway like our very own Doc this guy is a one man band, hand making his wares and selling straight to the customer with some real value I think. These are his latest (TDB-12) and will be on demo at Cranage Show, worth a listen I think. Certainly nice to see some speakers that done conform to the usual 1 or 2 industry 'norms'
Heres the blurb that goes with them.
Completing the Line up of the TDB range is the TDB-12 Studio Monitor, these will be on demonstration at the North West Audio show at Cranage later on this month 23/24th June along with the other models in the TDB range in the Brunel suite, the TDB-12 features a high power 12" bass driver with 3" voice coil, a 5.5 inch midrange unit housed in its own enclosure, and a 1" bullet tweeter, Crossover frequency 650hz and 5000khz, system sensitivity is 96db 1w 1m, 300 watts power handling, usable frequency range is 28hz to 20khz, as with all the TDB range there is an adjustable level pad for the tweeter and midrange to tailor the speaker to the listening room or your preference, size 39" x 15" x 15" including stand, price for the TDB-12 is £1200 including stands, other colours and finishes are available at extra cost.

He let a hole in the box, which as far as I'm concerned means he's frills over substance.

They look promising and have been set at a decent price point but as always the proof is in the listening. Will be interested to hear a report on these from anyone who's going. Have the look of a Goodmans.

Re: Kralk Audio. Beautiful British Speakers
They are a throw back to the 80's, that is good, but better to throw back to the 60's and early 70's in terms of design and then using new better materials as most of them used chipboard. Anything built of marine ply was probably much better more expensive and American.
