This is the handbook for my Sony '930' machine. I think you can programme tracks to play & i know ive played a CD-R on it before.

I have a tascam cd450 that has the features you have asked about, uses a sony kss transport.
I dont use it very often, i only use it for testing balanced in/out pre's as it has the optional balanced out board. Sounds good, and I think it would play digestive biscuits if i tried them.
Just one to look at, but if you do look that way, get as mint an example as poss as they can get finicky about discs if they have been abused.

Phono stages: cole lcr, benedict audio hothead

Cans: myryad z40, hifiman sundara + deva, fostex t50rp, sennheiser momentum on ear +over ear, b&w p5 and p7

Thanks -the CD450 has been discontinued but there is a more recent model that looks very similar. I'll pull up the manuals and have a good look later on. These 'professional' models look more likley to have what I want, although the two I've looked at so far don't have the ability to delete tracks.
