Commando Sockets Plugs

Having read with interest the discourse on Shuko and the UK 15 Amp non fused plugs being significantly better than uk 3pin fused plugs and sockets.
It occurred to me that (obviously when running on a radial circuit only) how would the commando plugs and sockets such as
compare?
I appreciate they aren't necessarily the most cosmetically elegant or compact designs for use in the living room. But that aside would they provide a better connection?

Don't know never tried them. Always thought they were factory or outside sockets use.

They are what I got David at MCRU to install for the supply to his demo room.

Always assumed these were 110 V with fused pins as they look designed to be robust for industrial use?

These are what I get the electricians to install in comms racks to supply power to computers and Raids.

Do you use them on ring circuits.

I think the electricians run dedicated line for some installation but other with less power us a ring main.
