The only valid comparison is with the Kegworth hotel's usual rates - did PFP secure a better rate for the enthusiasts?

A superior double for this Saturday night is £44 excluding breakfast. But Saturday just gone was St Patrick's night. Was the £95 for 2 nights?

You can also get a double room (albeit standard, not superior) for £44 on Easter Saturday night. The £95 paid by Wammers does look well over the odds in that context. £51 for 2 breakfasts, anyone?

Being charged a huge premium over normal rates is not a great thank you for travelling, bringing all your gear, setting up, hosting and packing away.

Have I missed something...?

But is the room not being used for two days? I thought they stayed in the room on Saturday eve, then used it for the show on the Sunday.

See the large aircon units, as I imagine it could become fart central.

Fair point. I guess they would struggle to sell it for the Sunday night. 2 nights plus breakfast one day would take it up to around the £95...I did think I must have been missing something.

Pity they couldn't get a chunk off for booking 40 odd rooms...
