Does it have a name, or is it a secret?

I'm thinking the next bake-off could cover a range of things...

Balanced Mains
DACs
LPSUs
Polishing fuses

Does that appeal??? Anything else???
Not much released on DSD I agree, I have my player (ROON) upscale everything to DSD64 with some success.

Dacs from the above list, I’m sold on BMU (bought one) and LPSUs

Have you compared it with the DAC that The Doc and I use - you know, the little black box for a tenner or less plus forty quid linear supply all from eBay? That's got to be at least a basic benchmark to compare with any dealer-bought confection at £500 or more... Well worth getting for the emergency drawer as is say, a Rega Carbon cartridge for when the expensive model is away...
The Doc told me about this dac and psu so I invested the £50. Using a P90SA and A20 at the moment and thinking that this dac has a lot of promise. I’m looking forward to trying it with a TSS.

Apologies for moving off at a tangent.

The best prices I could find were £3.99 delivered for the dac from a Chinese supplier or £12.99 delivered from a U.K. supplier. Can’t see the psu cheaper than the one in the Doc’s link. It seems too good to be true and makes you wonder if other manufacturers know what they are doing. A full-fat super-mega double-bastard NVA power supply for the dac could be interesting. Don’t worry Doc, I’m not hinting that you should build one 😀

*THEY* know about it, they don't want *YOU* to know out about it, I thought about it a couple of years ago. I just put them in a box and charge £100, so I join the slurp and rip off. Not my way.

I promoted and discussed them here, DSJR got involved as he heard it heard them here and no one else seemed to believe me, so just used it myself.

If you want to use a computer in front then you need a USB to SPDIF converter.

I just bought 2 as it's cheaper than using a switch! Now I have to build the amb sigma 11 supplies I've had in my drawer forever.
