Back on with the dynavector, same pattern continues.

The dv is obviously the 'top of the class' so to speak, what is interesting is how obviously different it is to the 760slc
The slc is brighter, and more detailed, not so coloured. The Dv is not so matter of fact, and the bass is fuller, not so controlled. The at is probably the more accurate cart of the two, but the dv is 'nicer' for want of a better word

The difference between the AT and the DV is clear, and this version of the arm is showing the differences plainly

This has been an interesting few hours

Thread has been removed. Possibly, the poster was promoting their business without paying the trade fee. That's just speculation on my part, though.

I think you could be right Savvy, but here's another link which I think is the same tonearm, towards the bottom of the page https://audioaddictsforum.com/thread/1784/cost-plinths

You can get a rega 300 for £200 from eBay.

If you find yourself with 1 hand/arm , I cant see how you could justify spending more.

Built another one

ImageCx unipivot tonearm revision 9 by anthony cresswell, on Flickr

Revision 9, I think, I've changed the counterweight stub and weight. The stub on this one is carbon fibre with a 10g brass insert, and the weight is brass in order to make it lower profile for the same weight, although this one is a little underweight as I made it a little bit small. The cartridge carrier stub is also slightly different, just a detail change to the shape so it looks better

I also found a set of buffing wheels and compounds that I forgot I had so it's a bit shinier.

Still need to make another bias weight and guide
