Alfi, loving the AP20. It is getting more play than anything else at the moment. Have a Cambridge Audio CD5 (Richer sounds cheapie from 2002) hooked up to it with SSC and a pair of B&W CM1 with LS2 . CM1's are going to be replaced by my MS902S which are being doc modded to within an inch of their life as we speak.
The radiogram is a thing I remember from my childhood and which is probably why I have a weakness for them. Ruark are quite a respected name, non ?

They were at one time Stu. I remember when I purchased Epos ES14's, it was a toss up with Ruark Sabre's.
