Much better if they took him over there so we don't have to put up with the lying arse.

I'm keeping an open mind until I hear it in a bake-off against decent opposition, or someone whose judgement I trust hears it.savvypaul wrote: ↑Thu Jul 20, 2017 1:59 pm
We've got to remember that the Arkless 640p "has easily beaten everything it has come up against"
This guy from Texas is probably flying in personally and transporting the Arkless back in a foam packed steel suitcase. When he gets it home it will destroy his $8k Shindo, just as it has humiliated all others before it, and Kevin will cry tears of both joy and sadness.
The Arkless is a miracle of engineering - the one you had was so obviously faulty - and I can prove that on an abacus.
It might be as good as Arkless claims. Or it might not.

Re: Arkless / Cambs Audio 640p phono stage
My sarcasm is a comment on Arkless' self-promoting hyperbole and defensiveness. I won't express my own opinion of how his P/S sounds until I have actually heard it (sadly I can't be at the next Huddersfield gig). In the meantime I would trust the opinions of Doc & Antonio66 based on what I have learnt here.Lindsayt wrote: ↑Thu Jul 20, 2017 5:21 pmI'm keeping an open mind until I hear it in a bake-off against decent opposition, or someone whose judgement I trust hears it.savvypaul wrote: ↑Thu Jul 20, 2017 1:59 pm

Re: Arkless / Cambs Audio 640p phono stage
The reality is the Arkless is fine as far as it goes, what then goes wrong is that is then taken as an ultimate and played on by Arkless. Of course he has good reviews from people who have heard nothing better - BUT there is better, and not just NVA.
It is part of what goes wrong with the PFM and AoS type £50 forum spamming permissions, other products are not allowed to be discussed in conjunction with them. This is what has got me so frustrated, plus the games that are played to try and make sure there is no public comparison, only comment from users who found it better than what they had. And if there is a comparison made as with Antonio then the guns start blazing and the lies and the insults start. From the forum owner and his arse lickers as well as Arkless.

We have what we have and we have to make a reality out of that. At the moment it is bullshit rules.

ADMIN EDIT - Once again I am getting seriously fed up with this, where does it say in the title that I am the subject. Once more pure ad hominem so it has to have a 1st strike as I have to stamp it out.Dr Bunsen Honeydew wrote: ↑Thu Jul 20, 2017 8:45 pm We have what we have and we have to make a reality out of that.
