Finally got one!
I've been looking for one for a while now and thankfully found one and bought it ASAP.
Is the hype worth it? I think so
Not really had time to set it up properly yet, but chucked on a 2M Blue and a ADC headshell and Lou Reed's New York is sounding pretty damn good.
Due to the size of the thing i had to cut a piece of ply just to sit it on!
I did a quick back to back with my 1210 and definitely prefer it. It's also impossibly pretty to look at in comparison

Re: Finally got one!
Congratulations Jonty!
Looks very clean indeed..
Shame about the crack in the lid just above the hinge left hand side. Fix it by welding with acetone carefully administered from a syringe. Don't touch the surfaces when wet with the acetone which will flow into the crack and weld it permanently. It will simply evaporate quickly from the surfaces not cracked and not cause damage unless touched or wiped when wet.
Enjoy your "new" classic Pioneer.

Re: Finally got one!
I think so and recall RD saying "if" he sold his it'd be £300+
I mean, where else would you get something as good for that price?
Oh, and i got UPS to collect it for me
