Richard Allan speakers

Never heard of this manufacturer before but found some on the net for sale. The model is Pavane from 1975. Look interesting.

Thanks Terry. I like to support local business although they are probably not trading anymore.

The seller thinks they sound special - i have no idea about the sound quality of the speakers.

Good start point for Doc Mod, but mostly good drivers, so if they are not damaged they will not need changing to Doc Mod drivers, just dope existing ones. Cheaper project.

I know them more for their drivers that they sold separately than the finished speakers.

They surely are good looking things. And well built i would say, unlike the modern WAF crap i have seen around these days.

I am fast becoming a vintage speaker addict even though i have not heard many ! Not sure i need anymore projects at the moment though.

ive had a pair for about an hour,they are not bad but not as good as ditton 44's which is what i had at the time so they went back to the charity shop,they are still there priced at £80.
