If, like me, you have LPs but listen mostly to digital, how about this?

There is a turntable from ELP Japan that plays LP's using a non-contact laser pickup.

Listened to one of those a good few years ago. Seem to remember that it sounded pretty impressive but surface noise was worse than any "proper" turntable/cartridge I've heard.
