Now using one with an old TEAC DAC. This is an excellent transport and I'm sure is better than the old (lower) VRDS transports. More detail and unfatiguing presentation. Probably more to come with an upmarket modern DAC. Was reduced to £250 at Richer but has now gone back up to £300. It will play SACD dual layer disks fine incl one that won't play properly on my universal player. Also displays CD text from SACD's and other CD's with it.

The only annoyance is it does not support numbered track access (at least with supplied remote) and you have to skim forward and back thro' the tracks.

Mine is arriving at 1400 today. I will be interested to see if I can discern any difference between that and my CD63 (used as a transport only).
