Devialet D-Premier here. (I've also got the Frog Gold cartridge, but that's actually Dutch). Part of the reason that French products aren't so popular here is that UK buyers have tended to concentrate on either UK, Japanese or US products. There are relatively few importers of French equipments, and it's only rarely reviewed in the UK hifi press.musique! wrote:Hi everyone,
As I sayd , I come from France and it seems that french products are not very popular in great britain.
Certainly for historical reasons according to someones , but I'm wondering what's the other causes ?
Some of you may have heard it, some others got french speakers or amplifiers at home ?
Re: Have you ever had french audio at home ?

My only foray into French Hi-fi was a pair of Trangle Naia. Liked them actually but once run-in the bass became over blown in my room.
Audio Grail "Sable" Garrard 401 with Cumbrian Green Slate plinth / Audiomods 6 / Benz Micro Gullwing SLR, Phono 2, NVA INT400sa. (Oh and a Copland CDA823 CD Player, for when I fancy a bit of the devil's spawn!)

Indeed it is, and we very rarely pop over, shame on us.

I use a Micromega MyDac and and happy with it although it was not compared to anything in its price range. I remember when I first went to buy a cd player [25yearsago] Micromega were recommended but came away from the shop disappointed with the quality of cd. I believe certain models though are still highly regarded.

I had a Micromega Stage (Mine was a stage 3) player yonks ago and if memory serves, thought it very good indeed.
