This sort of ruling makes me weep. I call it the shopping-trolley effect.... We all have to find a pound coin because of the mindless minority who get their jollies by doing unimaginable things to said trollies.
I've been buying music media since I was knee-high to Raquel Welch. I've spent thousands if not tens of thousands of pounds on LP's, audio-tapes, audio-books, CD's, DVD's, Blu-rays et al.
Yes I've had my money's worth, but all I want to do is (say) copy a CD to a blank so I can listen in my car without damaging the original, copy same to USB so I can listen in my girlfriends car, copy a DVD so I can watch it on my tablet whilst on holiday. If I'm breaking the law then the law is an ass.... Has that been said before?
