 I was swapping boxes long before Jerry joined a forum  I have owned a lot of crap ! To be fair, 90% of my list is unmusical dross.

Shane, Keilidh are an unusual choice... You need to elaborate ?!

Keilidh's are nice active...

Beovox 500

Audiomaster Image 2
Spendor BC1
Linn Isobarik (three pairs - 1979, 1984 [the best pair by far], 1985)
Linn Kan
Snell E - mid 80's version
Yamaha NS1000
Epos ES14 (various versions)
Celef Professional (no exact name as few were made - large three way with Volt 10" bass driver, 8" white mid and dome tweeter)
Harbeth HL5
ATC SCM20
ATC SCM100A
AVI Positron
Musical Technology Harrier SE
Rega Alya
Linn Keilidh - late version
Wilson Benesch Act 1
ATC SCM20ASL Pro
AVI N5
AVI pro 9
Spendor BC2
Rogers LS5/9
Wharfedale Denton W20 (1968)
Wharfedale Diamond IV
IMF Compact mk1 - awaiting driver refoam

Oh - and I forgot some Mission 737R's and Diesis Solitaire's I 'loaned' to friends and never got back...

Favourites - all for different reasons... BC1's, second pair of 'Briks, ES14's, ATC100A's (I shed tears when these had to go), BC2's (I have to since I sold this pair to their first owner in 1974) and the little old Dentons :).

Some of these I kept for ages, others a very short time (smaller ones maybe, although the Snell E's were a notable exception)

Hanging on in quiet desperation is the English way...The time has gone, The song is over, Thought I'd something more to say...

Always wanted some, problem is finding a decent condition pair now & the price they command... even then there's no spares available.

NS1000's are really strange speakers in all honesty. In some setups they were amazingly good, but in others (mine) and used nearfield, there was a 'synthetic' colouration and a 'deadness' in perspective/reverb/atmosphere that a really good pair of mid period Isobariks did with ease (and not because they sprayed the sound all over the place either, this is reproduction of recorded ambience and atmosphere).

I did once hear the NS2000's (I think it was) and REALLY rated those I remember.

The Keilidh's I had were an early pair, built in 1993. They had the 'pre veneered' fronts and the metal mesh tweeter.

I only ever used them in passive mode driven from a tube amp.

They sounded 'live' and very musical to my ears. I don't bloody care what others think!

According their manual, there is an internal treble adjustment. Perhaps my pair could have been tweaked?...You never know!
