I would like to join in on this thread as I am a huge Royd fan, is it true that the guys reproducing the Royds worked for him and with him ? I have read bits on other forums mentioning that they were part of it at some point

Complete bollocks the guy involved has been trying to make and sell speakers with no success so he bought the Royd name to see if that gives him the sales. Sadly the speaker is crap what ever name is on it. When Joe gave up he sold his spares and stock and company name to one of his dealers (I forget which) and they did nothing with it but to sell off the bits and now they have sold the name.

Give us links to this forum.

The guys who worked with Joe were nearly as old as him so would be my age now.

He only had two staff and his wife in the office. It was a very small company.
