My own advice regarding the deck (Rega?) would be to try to put it on one of their wall brackets if that's feasible. Cabinets can add a slight 'radiogram' kind of bass colouration to turntables like these. The other thing is that a close by large mains transformer may possible interact with the cartridge (is that a Phono 1 under the preamp?)

Please forgive the 'Hifi Consultant' bit of me coming out. I did this for so long professionally I can't help myself sometimes - cough!

Phono1 and P50 are happy on top of each other. Power amps down the other end, I see no problem.
