WTF is that ribbony 'thing' on top of the bass-mid driver? The price is madness. A modern version surely wouldn't be more than £500 retail, would it (I accept that most sub £500 speakers today are cheap far eastern imports and highly profitable for the middle men who distribute them). I mean, even these 'new' Minstrels could be sold direct for £600 or possibly less...
