Re: Recent ebay buys
Actually just noticed they are SR80i http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/291415959195? ... EBIDX%3AIT
Also got these for £5. They were my first headphones used with a Sansui AU101 so it is nostalgia http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/141620560864? ... EBIDX%3AIT

Re: Recent ebay buys
Shane I have watched over 50 SR80s over the last couple of months because I knew I wanted one. You have to be patient and spot one that went under the radar due to bad listing or wrong place to get a bargain, or you are just lucky. I set myself a price limit in this case of £40 and bid on all that got listed. There was a SR225 for £100 that I was sorely tempted by, someone got a bargain, and I think I did too.southall-1998 wrote:Richard, you lucky bastard!

I can't buy at PFM (or post, or read the archive, or be talked about, or my company to be talked about, or my products to be recommended) all because I called the mods and owner a bunch of poofters sensitive little bunch about it aren't theyistari_knight wrote:I wondered as there was a pair up for sale on PFM last night @ £40jammy395 wrote:Ermmm...The clue could be in the thread title istari.istari_knight wrote:

Re: Recent ebay buys
I just won these for 10 squids, I wonder if they are any good. Anyway worth a lot more that that for the drive units if they have JBL stamped on them. Anyone know them.

Some times you make a silly £10 bid 'cos you know you aren't going to win them so I won them
