Happy Xmas to all and happy new year to The Doc. I do agree about the prezzies and decor and rubbish telly. Xmas is actually about the religious feast not all the other stuff people are interested in. Are you by any chance Scottish Doc? - they seem to put more emphasis on New Year.

Christmas is what it is to you, end off. We no longer live in a time of cultural norms. My point was it was a good time for reflection and wishing your fellow members well.

This week I have been learning to walk. Sitting on a stool adjacent to my bed, I rise and stand. I am now able to stand quite freely and stable . I have to make sure weight is threw my right leg or else it tremors, but once it as stopped I can stand freely. From this standing position I then walk along the bed and then walk backwards. My knee bends partially and the placement of my foot is sporadic , but we can do it.

In 3 or 4 weeks I hope to move on to a walking stick with quad stand and then I can move about the house.

Excellent news DQ. I takes time m8 but you will get there with determination and the support of your family, which I'm sure you have in spades.

Best wishes
Alfi

Very pleased to hear of your progress. While reading I could not help think about your arm, although Simon as already asked, I will ask also.
