I am fixed on low output moving coil and probably another benz , but my mind is wondering and whilst I am a long way from becoming a protégé of pfm's Mr Serge , I am inclined to give credence to specifications in cartridges as it appears to me they are all principally the same design , cantivlever, dimond ,copper wrapped round and iron magnet core [ yes I know exotic cartriges have special magnents and silver , gold windings ] So similar specification should sound the same

they are remarkably similar expect one as lower output , thus is it reasonable to expect them to sound the same ?
That's a very kind offer which I will take you up on ,It will at least let me listen to music whilst I ponder my next purchase and buy a pram , a cot and plethora of clothes which "must be in the bloody house before any bleeding microscopic dimond" :D

Additionally, as you have let it go on the cheap , once I in possession of a new cartridge [ assuming the mc10 is not a keeper ] I will return or pass on to any other similarly afflicted forum member .
I misunderstood , I thought it was fixed to the headshell , in my defence , I remember you saying some time ago that you preferred detachable headshells for quick changes and you glued the cartridge to the headshell .
