Does anyone use such a thing? and if so which ones? I've seen them for about £35 which seems a lot to me

I'm off the same school of thought. An expensive fuse will NEVER EVER sound as good as no fuse at all.applemarc wrote:Ues 15amp plugs no fuse needed
Same with IEC plugs, I'm sure a £90 IEC connecter will be better than one from the pound shop, but hard wire your mains cable and it will sound better than any IEC connecter .

They made enough of a difference for me to buy another two.
