I've never heard of them...can't find much online either..I'm always interested in standmounts so be good to know more as £300 for used is a lot so either they are something special or over priced?!?

I very nearly bought a pair of these once, I heard a pair in a friends house and they were very involving and REAL

For £300 I can but some Goodmans with change though...so many speakers but so few pennies!

Offer him £250, you always negotiate on private sales. Snell is a US company, Peter Snell the designer died of a heart attack on the job, his successors cocked it up and ruined the speakers. Audionote UK were UK importers and after the changes they bought the rights to make these speakers, so the modern version is the Audionote K.

These are better than Magnum K's but not as good value.

i had a pair of these up to about 7 years ago with the stands (which i stlii have). the foams were split and i ended up part swapping them along with my audio note amp for a ksa100 because i fancied a change. big mistake. nowadays i would have refoamed.

I had a set of these for a short while. Mine were Snells built by Audinote in UK who I believe bought all the US stocks/parts and initially sold them with Snell badges. Nice easy going speaker but I eventually hankered after my sharper Royds !

So how would the modern equivalent i.e Audio Note K's fair against these.We have been led to believe the AN k's are a superior speaker
