Purely because most Naim dealers became Royd stockists. The dealers decided to adopt Royd as part of the *approved* flat earth list. It was all politics, and thoroughly irritated Joe Ackroyd, but you take the business that is given to you.

Did Joe Ackroyd recommend a particular amp for all his Royd speakers? Or did he just leave it up to the owners?
