KEEP IT SIMPLE........mmmh.

Im a great beliver in simple is best.....But most designers et al seem to love to do it different.....Is it cause they can...!!!
This applies to all aspects of hifi components....... :whistle:

Which would sound best......

Well personally I don't particularly like either. Unipivots or bits of string are made by people who don't have the engineering or production skills to produce proper good bearings. The Dynavector, as you say, is over the top. I think the Japanese arms of the late 60's and 70's did all that is really needed.

Yep....i tend to agree, but why did they put a kink in the tube...?
Or two kinks in the case of S shaped arms.....lets complicate things again.....!!!!! :doh:

It was just the best way to get the stylus at the right angle, nothing wrong with it, and much better than angling the junction with the headshell which is what Linn and others did.

I heard a tt with one of these on last Saturday (at MartinT's of AOS fame) ... cor, lummy - it's a thing of beauty and the sound of the tt system was most enjoyable indeed!

It might be complicated, but it works! :drool:

Yep give em credit the Jap's can certainly make some fancy hifi when they put their mind to it.
Im sure it sounds luvely - should do at the price.
