This one is definitely more difficult Paul.

I can't see that it would be a, b or c bearing in mind that the higher the AWG number the thinner the gauge of wire, they all seem too thin. So I will go for d, 9.
Main System. Amp - Luxman LV-120, CD - Pioneer PDX505 & Hitachi DA 401. Turntable - Trio KD-2055/Denon DL-110 & Ortofon VMS20E. Cassette Deck - JVC KD A55. Speakers - Arcam Alpha connected with NVA LS3.

Headphone System - Little Dot Mkiii headphone amp, various vintage CD players into NVA P50 with Sennheiser HD600 and Beyer DT 880

In the mid-80's RD moved the bright-red on/off switch (the first to do so!) from the front to the back of NVA amplifiers.
Did he do this because:

a) He didn't like bright red LED's
b) non-illuminated switches on the back were cheaper
c) people kept turning the feckin' things off when they should be left on
d) LED's made too much noise in the circuits.
e) NVA amps looked more threatening without switches

Answers on a postcard, please.

As no one has decided to have a go at this one.

I think the answer is C

As The Doc would say:

Feckin' right - and about bloody time too!

I like the 'more threatening' idea though.

He said 'C'

He likely also thought 'A', 'B', 'D' & 'E'...
