BBPSU warning

BBPSU used with a Phono 2 and especially a Phono 3 has so much power weight behind it anything will pass to the amp. What people don't realise is what banging a stylus or dropping it on the record is all about, the transient is massive. Most Phono stages including our normal PSU and even double PSU will restrict this to a degree.
Well I learned a lesson yesterday, if you have a BBPSU and I was running two of them into a P3, accidentally dropped the stylus on the disc with the volume up and pop took out an A80. So when messing around with a disc either select another source or turn volume down.
