Has anyone ever heard of it. It seems it is a smaller summer sale version of Black Friday.

Well the only thing I can find on line is about cheap and legalised Cannabis Well to join in that I would have to do a Mana (racks), famously for *special customers* there was a little bag of the good stuff enclosed.

There's a Green Tuesday, which is all about green goods, as in recycled etc., not the colour. There's also a Green Monday, which is that last Monday with at least 10 days left prior to Christmas. which is also, I believe, the last online shopping day before Christmas. You already found Weed Wednesday a.k.a. Green Wednesday it seems.
The only other reference I can find to 'Green Wednesday' is a single instance that mentions the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, in America.

I am struggling to remember where I saw it, but it has been in my mind since Black Friday, perhaps I should start it. My birthday is on a Wednesday this year in a couple of weeks.

I will think about it, summer sales are a tradition.
