Black Box - Possible with the P90, but it is a PITA to do. So I don't want to. Not as good even than a Phono1 and would have to be MM due to hum pick-up.

Statement Range - already has one and you can order it. It is a TAS built in a TCS. There are a couple out there being used. BUT it can have Phono2 circuit or Phono 3 built in Phono 3 and you would need the BBPSUs to power it, PSUs if Phono 2, so you end up with more boxes.

EDIT - also I mustn't forget the Jammy style AP10h headphone amp. The ultimate in this is a full split power supply version (like A80) using a stepped attenuator with the prototype BBPSU that has been bought by Ithilstone - STILL WAITING FOR FULL REVIEW, nudge nudge.
Review will come any day I promise... maybe even tomorrow
But in short I am headphone guy so all (almost) all listening is through those funny tiny( or not) thingies you attache directly to your ears...
So if step from AP20 to AP70 SA was gentle but noticeable then step from AP70 SA to AP10h SA + BBPSU is even gentler but even more noticeable
There is no change in music it is just more of it and even more engaging
Even though Doc must think of me in terms of massive PITA (wink wink) As I always overthink things ;] (Doc knows what I am on about)
then I am not giving it back!!!
Nothing to see here...

Doc,

Would you make a BBPSU to power a Phono 2 at some stage? Would it replace one or both PSUs currently spec'd to go with the phono? Thinking out loud.

I think you misunderstood what I am saying. Bespoke is only the specials *A*40s are a standard product, and unless you want a smaller transformer you are stuck with the case size, it is dictated by the heatsink and height by the transformer. PLUS specials are in existing case there will be no special cases built just existing ones adapted.

What you can have as a special is the old style mk1 A40s as the case that was used is now used in the A20, so two of those. Because the case will only have a mono amp in it I can fit a transformer with higher voltage rails to give you a 40w spec BUT the reason I changed to the new design was because the internal heatsink wasn't up to it in difficult speaker load situations, but as long as you are sticking to the Doc Mod JPWs then no problem. Cheaper as well as I can do them for £400 (just double the A20 prices as they cost the same as that to make). BUT sorry no trade in if you do that, it will be £480 if you want the A20 trade in.
Is this offer still available to me Doc?

Make a thread in NVA orders with your requirements. I quote - you pay - I build and send - you tell us about them.

Doc,

Could you do 'bespoke' Speaker cable? I'm just about to trade in my 1.5 mtr LS5 for LS6. I wanted to go TSCS but thats a big jump at the minute for my budget (still worth every penny mind).

So...... is there any chance of a 1.5 mtr pair of speaker cable which are above LS6 but not quite TSCS? While your terminating them can you (just for instance) double up on the amount of the sliver cable content in them?

If so what would the price be through the forum....

Cheers

Chris
