The Doc will be along to confirm but I think it is (was) a genuine NVA product. I think it has been spotted elsewhere. I think there's a german website which had a lot of the old stuff on it.

It was a early 1990s idea as to a different cosmetic. The mk1 Statement amps used chrome plated alluminium turrets for their transformers. There were larger rings available so my imagination did the rest. I really liked them, some sold in mainland Europe, but my major market back then was the Far East and they didn't like them, said they looked like rice cookers, so they faded out. Still nice though.
