More delays

Unread post by Dr Bunsen Honeydew »

They told me my mild tooth ache would be gone if I had the tooth out, so it came out today, one of the big ones at the bottom at the back. True the mild pain has gone to be replaced by a zonking great big pain. I am tanked up with every painkiller I can find in the house and me and a bottle of Limoncello are going to bed for some hanky panky.

Hoping your pain doesn't last too long Doc because I'm running out of finger nails waiting to hear what LS6 does for my music. :(

It has been my first in all my life so it has been a bit of shock. Until this tooth started playing up I had never even had toothache. It seems this one is my own fault as I cracked it by crunching something, knowing me probably a hard sweet, and bacteria got through the crack into the root.

I put my teeth troubles down to an early addiction to pork scratchings, amongst other things. You have lived a charmed life to have been toothache free for so long.Shame you can't see the pair of minstrels, upside down on my computer desk now,it might make you smile through your pain.Looks daft but sounds fine...

I'm now at the age that long standing teeth weaknesses are becoming teeth-crises... I'm fighting to keep a crown in place (not much tooth for it to anchor to) and it keeps coming unstuck. Remedy is to remove said tooth, or file what's left down to gum level (an expensive implant is out of the question). I feel the Doc's pain, having been there regarding root-canals :(

After losing a tooth recently I decided to go for an implant as there is an optimum period for having it done. Very expensive but the procedure is more complex than people imagine. Having first part done next week but you pay for each stage as it's done. Could buy a stack of NVA amps for the money but gaps do not look good and I have only one other good top left tooth plus another that will have to come out at the back soon. I put the most of the problems down to past drill and fill specialists that I used.

The root canal pain was last week, they aborted that as they found the tooth was cracked so yesterday was extraction pain. Less pain today.
