Next speaker fun for me.

Unread post by Dr Bunsen Honeydew »

The Cubix pro stacks will go this coming weekend.

To replace them I am going to build a unpowered set to see the difference the internal amps make. So customers can have the two options.

I am building a pair of Cube 1 next though for a customer.

I have the old set of B&W cabs I was going to do to prove to everyone who wants to listen here the efficacy of Doc Mods, they will follow the Cube 1s being built.

I have on order Cube 2 and the new Cube 3 cabs, but I wont build them up until needed.

VERY interesting!
The unpowered version would be my only real option so will watch with interest. :)

Would be interesting to hear the B&W cabs. Do the original drivers lend themselves to Doc mods or aren't they as good as the ones you have?

P.S. I've seen the mass-loaded cabs and they're VERY heavy!!! :)

I bought them as an empty set of cabinets on ebay for about £30, so they will be all Doc Mods, drivers, steel plate, no crossover etc.

I sent you an email, no reply, as I forgot what you measured for the driver hole on your old Cube 3 can you confirm again.
