If you don't say "over" you get nowhere, so that is bollocks. Ham sets on shortwave are not like a phone.

Back to topic - cough!

Are 'we' settled on two or three inputs yet? Rotary switch does look better for most though.

Thinking about the forthcoming Cube3 & Cubette. Iyou could probably fit an AP10 power section in a Cube 3 case. Run that off a P20 and you would have an instant, active, desktop system.

It is not the amp that is the problem it is its power supply, it gets too complicated. Leave me to decide what is possible, I can assure you I am leaving no turn unstoned

The people building most of these things are building in classD amps with PWM (so called digital) power supplies, which = crap in my language.

Digital lies should be banned, PWM PSU in audio is so so wrong, and I designed the bloody things for 30yrs I hate them just crap and problems. A nice big linear monster with PP output and large caps is my idea of heaven, with the Redheaded Nurse to help also.
It can be done so imagine it.

P20 passive pre cases ordered so there will be a £100 nva passive, looks the same as P50, technically the same as well but smaller box (half width, half depth, 2/3 height), two switched (sets of) input, one output, and one unswitched direct input for single source usage. Old mk1 A30 cases which with smaller internal PSU will become A20 power amp to go with it at £200 have been ordered as well. £300 plus cable pre-power system, how's that for value.

First Cubette speaker nearly finished I will post pic latter. As I said £300, so we will now have £600 plus cable hi-fi system just needing a source

Too late to say now, but did you really need the 'direct' input?
