TCS
Just built and put a single input three output TCS in between the Sony and the 2 part Cubix Pro (3rd parts over 50% built, so soon). Enormous amount of more definition and information BUT a bit meh! sort of "so what", but these Shinkoh tantalum resistors in a stepped attenuator need a heck of a lot of run in, I have found this in the past they need days if not weeks and each step has to run in separately to a degree.
Will put up a pic when I can find some new batteries for my camera.

Re: TCS
Well you have one in your system so you should know. I don't remember if your one was run in before you got it, beyond a few days I don't think it was. Anyways yours is a TCS/TAS combo if I remember right.

Re: TCS
Well - you seem to be at a 'breakthrough' point with the Cubix Pro, certainly as you have it connected now with a Statement preamp.
This could bring a breathtaking level of audio quality into the reach of mere mortals who cannot afford the bizarre expense of current 'ultra-high-end' gear.
Following progress with much interest (and respect).

Is that a Sony Das-r1 Doc? I didn't realise you had the combo I thought you just had the cdp.

Re: TCS
Yup! still looking for the CDP-R1 to go with it, but I think that is a fruitless chase. But if you see one at a sensible price then tell me I will sell you the 777 for what it cost me.
