Take no notice of Jammy, flat up against the wall with them. Ask Kaz how much the mk2 drivers improve the mk1 Cubes, it really is worth it.

Re: NVA Cube 3 (Vintage)
Far FAR better for you Shane than a pair of bloody ancient Spendors!!!
I heard original Cubes many years ago at a show - I know, NOT the proper place to hear them, but they did sound lively, 'clean' (no stodge at all) and very clear. If you liked the Rega Elas you had once, prepare to have your head blown off

Re: NVA Cube 3 (Vintage)
I can't remember now, they all sounded fairly similar until the very end (just before they changed the cabinets completely to a pillar design). The late demo pair we had (1998 or so) sounded spitty and vicious I remember.

Re: NVA Cube 3 (Vintage)
I'm long finished with Rega Ela speakers, Dave.
My humble JPW ML-110i's have really spoilt me, with their fun, communicative musicality.
I'm aware the Cube 3's will present the music differently. But, at least hope to get a similar level of enjoyment out of them
