It is the best of Mike Oldfield IMO. Very new age, but that has its place as well.

At the moment it is Getz / Gilberto recorded 1963, you know the Girl from Ipanema one - pure magic Verve recording that the system is making into "just can't stop listening".

Got some wiring clear up to do as at the moment the BBMU is not direct into the wall socket, and I have a standard pot P50 and SC interconnect on it. So time for a TCS and some TIS build.

In a previous lifetime when I was involved in the official MO magazine, we attended the world premier of TSODE at the London Planetarium and although we'd been fed snippets by his management team, it still blew my mind. Not as good as Amarok, but a fantastic recording nonetheless... but I digress

The Ella and Louis Together double album playing now - sheer magic 1956/7 recordings, real recordings, real music. Ferk the flat earth my foot just cannot stop tapping, the swing of the rhythm section is right out of the big band era, just organic. You can smell the sweat
