Surprising, considering the amount of discussion on vintage hifi here, how liitle attention is given to cassette players.

Well, for wrong or right, I turn everything off overnight and almost always when we leave the house unattended for any length of time! My hearing may well not be good now, but I don't notice any significant warm-up time in all honesty and they run barely warm for me when left on all day.
