Don't forget, they are from a different planet after all.I spent several grand on naim cd players ,and she didn't say a word until i plumbed in an old TT my sister threw out.

I can't believe she doesn't hear any difference from the sub, it's become a sort of observational experiment.
No wonder that any improvements to the 'proper' hifi are not appreciated.

Surely she will notice soon ? Once you get past a week, if she notices you can always try the "they have always been there" trick.

It worked for me,,i bought three trials bikes ,a while ago now,(montessa,armstrong,honda,)i got away with it as they were all RED.So popping in another black box with NVA on it is a doddle.... I found that if they didn't spot it straight away,they won't own up .

Ah, but the change from boxes to panel speakers wa spotted immediately. A matter of interior furnishing !!
