A40 Mk2 and P50 Burn in ?

Ash, I can see that you have now better pre and cables, was it a big difference to what you have previously?

I didnt want to believe it but yes it did, I started by changing the pre amp(P50 to P50sa). What a difference it made everything was more controlled and clearer, well worth it !!!!

Second thing was LS1 to LS6, this was also a massive upgraded as the sound was more fuller and detailed(more authority), when I put LS1s back on it was as if there was something missing. Dont get me wrong the LS1 is a great cable but LS6 is so much better.

Cannot comment on SSPs at the mo but will post soon.

^Nice to hear that you are happy with them. One thing I've been wondering about is that how big are the steps in p50sa vc? I would personaly like them to be as small as possible, as I normaly listen quit low levels. No experience at any brand with sa vc, just thinking how it goes. I use ls1 at the moment and thinking to go up but certainly can't strecth to ls6

Firebug, I am also using a P50sa with A40 monoblocks - there are sufficient volume steps on the stepped attenuator to ensure that you can listen comfortably at lower levels. I am using LS5 speaker cable and am extremely happy with it.
