Unread post by Fretless »

I noticed a dealer in The Netherlands who claims to sell NVA products.
Rinsma Hifi in Lippenhuizen in the northern province of Friesland.

It must be old advert they used to be dealer up to 15 years ago,

Up to 2000 I sold through distributors and retailers. Then closed for 5 years. Restarted in 2005 selling only direct via ebay.

He is an old git now who does it more for the hobby, he probably can't be bothered to change it. If I ever dealt with dealers again I would supply him as he was one of the better ones, in fact I think he has bought a couple of things in the last 5 years but at the same price everyone does, there are no special dealer prices, no trade discounts, any dealers or distributors can buy nva at what used to be dealer price but so can you or anyone else, so they don't.

I have a dealer in Pescara Italy that buys occasional AP10's on ebay and sells them in his shop because he makes his profit on the expensive efficient speakers he sells with them.

It's a bit too far out of the way for me to pop in and have a look. (Equivalent of a day out in Doncaster if you live in Kent). But maybe he has some interesting kit. Royd. Sugden. Rega. And I'll have to keep an eye on his clearance offers page ('aanbiedingen'). Anyone for some Naim bargains ??
