I have just converted another friend to NVA now selling his old Audiolab 8000C Pre and Monrio MP1 mono power amps plus a not so good transcriptors Skeleton Turntable. They are going to buy an AP50

NO not catholic they are friends we spend New Year with. They have had their old system for years and really like the sound of mine so they have taken the plunge it does help that they are selling the Transcriptors Skeleton Turntable which I don't like but seems to have a lot of interest

I quite like them as a design piece. I gather that fitting a glass top to the platter improves the performance quite markedly too, although I think I'll stick with the Anni.

I owned a Transciptors Hydraulic reference, great as a conversation piece, but not much good at musical reproduction.
