I am using a 4x 2.5mm2 cable (in a single run), bi-amping my speakers.
So, I guess I am bi-amping only?
Each core cable is individually terminated.

What's the longest length of LS3 you have as a trade in? 3m, 4m? I need to work out my options!

I have two 3m sets, and an odd set which is 2m+ one side and 3m+ the other.

A quick measurement shows I need about 4m for the longest run and a lot less on the other.

Well you set a precedent so others will expect it. I don't normally do it. My main motivation was to get the comparison with the Rega Brio R which is all I have been trying to do FOR TWO YEARS!!!

Can't you pop it around to little Alex's.

I promise I shall, but 'Little Alex' has a 'new' job and is being rushed here there and everywhere. I hope to catch him at home at some point soon when family and work ties aren't taking priority.

Still all available.

Measured the LS1 - I have 2 x 2m sets and 1 x 3.5m set.

Also AP70 for £600.

Also A30mk2 for £280.

Do you have 3 metre sets of the 1's and 3's ? I presume the 1's will be more flexible. I have to coil the left channel up slightly due to closeness to amp in order to maintain same length per side ! I presume this will compromise the sound quality available ?
