Speaker cable ID

Unread post by Dr Bunsen Honeydew » Fri Jul 13, 2012 1:43 pm

Because LS5 - 6 - 7 are the same thickness and I wish to use the same plugs on all three - the z plug. I am now using a coloured heatshrink at one end of each of the four cables per set to identify them.

LS5 - white
LS6 - blue
LS7 - yellow

From looking at returns and trade ins I am finding some users are twisting nva cable and even one putting tie-wraps on it. Please don't, leave the cables apart from each other.

INTERCONNECT CABLE (half price for digital cables)
SSP (super sound pipe) per 10cm + £80 termination £20.00 (Neutrik plugs only)
SSC (super sound cord) per 10cm + £10 termination £6.00
SC (sound cord) per 10cm + £10 termination £2.00

Doc have you made a boob - Is SSC & SC the same price per 10cm length - £10...!!! (Only termination is more expensive on SSC)

INTERCONNECT CABLE (half price for digital cables)
SSP (super sound pipe) per 10cm = £20.00 + £80 termination (Neutrik)
SSC (super sound cord) per 10cm = £6.00 + £10 termination
SC (sound cord) per 10cm = £2 + £10 termination

This probably makes more sense.
