Re: TCS/TAS 2x TDS and one TSS
1 x TCS/TAS
1 x TSS feeding the treble and midrange drivers
2 x TDS feeding the Bass drivers
LS7 speaker cable thoughout
With Super Sound pipes
PMC PB1i speakers
Cary 306
SME30
The sound has improved over the last 3 months and adding the TSS has made a bigger difference than I was prepared for. Bi-wiring the PMC’s has made the sound more open and somehow more relaxed it handles any music with ease the sound stage is even bigger and has more depth. The top end is a clean and crisp cymbal now sound even better the bass seems to have got a little deeper.
Now my system has changed so much over the last 6 months I can’t say which bits do what but if I broke it down the think the TDS and TCS/TAS have made big improvements and TSS has just refined the sound even more with the extra run of LS7.
A little note on heat I have not noticed any undue heat from any of the NVA amps so I can recommend any of the above.
