Well I've been reading so many posts from diy'ers on different forums, thought I'd put my woodworking skills to good use and make up a diffuser to hang on the wall.

Too much of distraction for sure - fwiw I have taken some office ceiling ones and modified them (whatta surprise 
) they do help and they blend in if you know what I mean.
