Prototype a Artwork by Paul Quick

Unread post by Wonfor14 »

The workmanship Paul's does is amazing,
The Amp runs 18W Class A the A/B upto 60W/ch 8R
From right to left:- Power Isolation Switch, Push for instant start and timed out about 1Hr with no music playing, Toggle Switch centre trigger-Up OFF - Down away ON
Switch Toggle on back is for Balance or Phono in.
The new chassis is coming and will be Black, but Paul workmanship is bloody good.

That looks really nice Colin, if it sounds as good it will be excellent.

Sorry not looked at your MC stage yet.

Thank you Colin. Can't believe the beast still works.... maybe my soldering isn't so bad after all 😂

ID1P preamp now in bits, must be getting on for 40 years old, so a recap should be worth while.

I might be wrong, but the IT1X is the pre section of a Claymore.

The ID1P is all discrete (no op amps) and Class A through out.

I think only a few were ever built, so I'm very lucky to own one 🙂
