Floor! what floor? I was going to suspend them on a magnetic field,it would only need 32,510 x 0.25inc dia magnets each. To stand just 5mm of the floor, but I had second thoughts, I live to close to London City Airport, and could not get Jumbo Jets in the garden, unless Mrs W. let me take washing line down.

Thanks for that, I’ve seen a few of the planter videos but not that one. I’m waiting for a couple of stonemasons/granite worktop guys to get back to me. If not I will plough ahead with the concrete casts and look into granite in the future. I certainly want to build some granite speakers soon but they may be more cube1 sized or maybe cubette sized.

Myself and a good friend also did this in the early seventies except we robbed the drive units from his mother's speakers. She had a Dynatron system and the speakers had Dalesford units iirc. We cast the cabs by making a box within a box and used stiff wire as reinforcing. There were bloody heavy and sounded great to a pair of bass freak teenagers. Wasn't there someone called Faraday or a company or something that made concrete speakers?

Anyway I wish the OP well with his project.
