I have the above cabinets and additional mdf to complete the sides- as it’s 18mm do u still recommend lining the inside- I have spare ceramic tiles and some steel but it’s only 1mm thick plate.
I feeel I have a difficult room for speakers to work in so I want to do this before I commit and ask for a set of cubes that will be for bi-amping Don’t want to find out they don’t suit the conservatory
Donor drivers from Royd initially
I will need some advice regarding the ‘crossover’ Will there be any capacitors on the original crossovers I can use?
Cheers peter

3.3uf is the usual suspect.

Lining cant do any harm. Make it so.

Completed-just waiting to paint the exterior cabinets. Several donor items used.
Lined with ceramic tiles and additional 18mm mdf exterior.
Dedicated stands too- been busy 🐝
I used a bass/mid from Royd Minstrel and a Richard Allan CB4 tweeter from 1968😁. Capicator from my linn speaker crossover, Cable posts from these too.
Will post pics when painted but now playing and I’m impressed with the outcome- aesthetics and sound.
