I have found I can get there on advance booking for about £50, which day is best?
Obviously by train I am not bringing anything unless it goes in a carrier bag.
Saturday is the best day, but Friday night and Saturday night are rewarding, if only for banter. An overnight stay at the hotel would give you a better experience.

Finished apart from the grilles:
This is the most enjoyable speaker build I've done in years, mainly because all the panels were rectangular for once
