Speaker internal wiring

Unread post by karatestu » Sat Sep 09, 2017 2:47 pm

As my doc mod speaker projects (two on the go at once  ) are progressing my thoughts have turned to what internal wire to use.

It is very important to use low capacitance cable with NVA amps and I thought why not extend that to the internal wiring also.

Is it worth buying some NVA speaker cable and using it internally in both my doc mod projects ? LS2 ?

I will of course be keeping the internal send and return wires separate and not tied together :naughty:

Thanks.

The wiring is so short it really doesn't matter as long as you don't use bell wire or similar, any decent cable will do. I have a spare reel of 6amp mains cable I am using the cores from it.

Good new (not oxidised) cable with clean ends, mains cable is fine.
